Ensure App is Not DisabledUnder “ Settings” “ Apps & notifications” “ App info“. Choose the app that goes missing, and ensure the app is not disabled. Ensure the Launcher Does Not Have the App HiddenYour device may have a launcher that can set apps to be hidden. Usually, you bring up the app launcher, then select “ Menu” ( or ). From there, you might be able to unhide apps. The options will vary depending on your device or launcher app. I experienced this for my Samsung note 3, All the downloaded apps disappeared and I could not find their icons on the home page.
So I simply press the restart button and the phone came on, two options popped-up on the screen to select either “touchscreen home whiz” or “touchscreen easy home whiz”. Select the touchscreen home whiz and all the disappeared apps will be reinstalled. The other option “easy home whiz” does not permit downloaded apps and this may be responsible for why the app went off.olivier Cotasson says.
