If your keyboard and mouse uses a Unifying receiver which looks like this then you're in luck. You can either buy the cheapest product that has the same receiver and use the Unifying Software utility to re-pair it to your existing devices or you can buy it off eBay or AliExpress. I've purchased several (they cost around US$8 each).
Hi Everyone,Update - ended up buying the amp but having power button issues. See details in reply below.Someone local to me is selling a used Gemstone Audio - Blue Diamond amp and I'm wondering if I could get some thoughts on the model. It appears the company is no longer in business. This would be my first separate amp so I'm learning about them as I go.
I'm trying to get a baseline of what the value of the amp would be, the listing doesn't mention much other than it's in great condition. Thoughts on what I should pay used for the amp?My setup will be:2 x Polk Audio LSiM 707 Floorstanding1 x Polk Audio LSiM706c Center Channel2 x Polk Audio LSiM703 Bookshelf2 x Polk Audio LSi M702 F/X Surround1 - SVS PB16-Ultra1 - Yamaha RX-A3070 ReceiverI'll eventually add some height or front/rear presence speakers once I get everything setup.
The room is approximately 17x20 with a sloped ceiling which is straight for a few feet in the middle around 11.5 feet high or so.Open to any thoughts or comments. I'll tell you all about it. It's an extremely good amp.
When the USD to Canadian dollar went out of wack, the price to build more went up a massive amount coupled with an over heated economy that chases up the prices of precious metals like transformers (copper).Very pleased to see this recent post activity regarding the amp. I've been trying to reach you for some time, with unfortunately no success via email or phone.
I'm about to ditch my Gemstone Blue Diamond because I can't find a schematic for my technician to work with. If possible, I'd much prefer to hand over the amp and schematic for another go, as I love this thing!
Is it possible for you to upload one for us (Dropbox/Onedrive)? I went ahead and bit the bullet and bought it even though they couldn't demo it.
It was a business and they told me to call them if I had any issues and they had it tested at the same place I've had repairs done before so I felt pretty good about it. I'm testing it and the two channels I've tested so far seem to work. I'm going to test the other channels next. One question I have is around the power button. I do not have the trigger wire to my receiver hooked up yet. Should the power button do anything? When should the blue light be on? I'm getting audio and the blue light is off, but when I hit the power button the audio remains and nothing seems to happen?I paid $800 for the amp.
Hopefully I didn't overspend. There's for sure something strange going on with the power button on the amp.

This seems to happen if I have the trigger cable hooked up or not. Sometimes I have a blue light up front, sometimes I don't. As soon as I plug the power in the amp is on and the power button seems to do nothing. If I press and hold the power button on I can see on my APC power conditioner that the amp is longer on, but as soon as I release the button the amp turns back on. Bad power button?
The trigger doesn't appear to be doing anything either.Thoughts?
